Our Story
This is Marge (the dog) and Olive (the cat). The TrikStik was invented by their human, Salma (me - not pictured), which was surprising since I have never invented anything before.

But as they say, necessity is the mother of invention and since I have a bad back and a short, very anxious dog (see: Marge), I needed to find a way of distracting and desensitising Marge from all the things she's afraid of (see: everything) without having to bend down all the time.
The very first version of the TrikStik was a bit of peanut butter smeared at the end of a long shoehorn. It solved the bending down issue but it was very messy and generally quite impractical, but I kept trying and after a few attempts I managed to make something that did what I wanted it to do. Then my friend Andy very kindly offered to use his brilliant design skills and 3D printer to make a working prototype that wasn't stuck together with gaffer tape.
A year of testing, iterating and testing some more, here we are with a real-world product! This silly little invention of mine (which, would you believe it, is now patent pending!) has been such a game changer for me and Marge and I really, really hope it proves to be just as useful for other dogs and their humans.
As for Olive, she doesn't really care about any of this, she's just here for the snacks.
